Plans and pricing

SALT offers three standard plans (Propel, Propel+, Middle Market) plus Custom for enterprise. Each plan defines user seats, monthly Submission limits, custom role count, Custom Question count, and whether Reports are available.

In short: Three standard plans — Propel, Propel+, Middle Market — plus Custom for larger needs. Limits scale with price; Reports are Middle Market and Custom only.

Annual plans are available with a discount for some tiers.

What each limit means

  • User seats — how many people can sign in to your agency. Add seats as an add-on to grow beyond the included number (Managing user seats).
  • Submissions per month — count of completed Submissions per billing cycle. Exceeding the limit may require an upgrade or an overage arrangement.
  • Custom roles — agency-defined roles with custom permission combinations. Propel doesn’t allow custom roles; you use the system-provided roles only (Default roles).
  • Custom Questions — published Custom Question count. Drafts and archived questions don’t count.
  • Reports — the Reports section in the nav. Only included on Middle Market and Custom. See Reports overview.

What every plan includes

Regardless of tier:

  • Unlimited Forms and Links
  • All standard SALT integrations (subject to per-vendor terms)
  • Live Intake (default and custom templates)
  • Branding and theming
  • Email support

Add-ons

Beyond plan limits, add-ons handle expansion:

  • User seats — additional seats over the included count
  • Data Credits — bought in packs of 100, 500, 2,000, or 5,000 with volume discounts
  • Plan-specific add-ons for some workflows (Launch employee seats, Propel employee seats)

Grandfathered plans

Some agencies are on legacy plans (Lite, Plus, Extra) from earlier SALT pricing. These continue to work with their original terms.

Common questions

What happens if I exceed my Submission limit? Behavior varies by plan and configuration. Some plans throttle; some charge overage; some suggest an upgrade. Contact billing support if you’re approaching your limit.

How do I see my current plan? Open your agency billing settings. Current plan, billing cycle, and renewal date appear there.

Are Data Credits included in my plan? A small monthly credit allotment may be included depending on plan. Beyond that, buy Data Credits as an add-on. See Data Credits explained.
