Tracking Data Credit Usage
SALT’s Data Credit Tracker gives your team full visibility into how many data credits are being used, where they’re being spent, and by which vendors. This helps your agency monitor usage patterns, prevent surprises, and make more informed budgeting decisions.
Accessing the Data Credit Tracker
Navigate to the Billing section in your SALT account (Admin/Owner access required).
Here, you’ll see an overview of:
- Total credits remaining
- A breakdown of credits spent by vendor (Estated, Fenris, MeasureOne, SALT)
- A daily usage graph of total data credit activity across all tools
Filter
Use the filter in the top right of the graph to adjust the reporting range. This allows you to see the total credits spent within a selected timeframe (e.g. past 30 days), or from a specified source (form, employee).
Why This Matters
- Helps Admins understand where credits are going — and who’s using them
- Prevents unintentional overuse of high-volume integrations like Fenris or MeasureOne
- Supports better budgeting and usage forecasting
- Pairs well with SALT’s Monthly Limit feature to set caps on usage by integration
