Archiving and managing Live Intake templates
→Archive a Live Intake template to take it out of the picker without deleting it. Past Submissions that used it keep their data. Archived templates can be restored at any time.
Best practices for Live Intake during a customer call
→Prep your template choice and lines of business before you dial. During the call, use the Notepad for off-script notes and let autosave do the heavy lifting. If the call gets cut short, send a Continue Link by email or SMS so the prospect can pick up later.
Building a custom Live Intake template
→Custom Live Intake templates are account-wide and let you tailor the intake flow to a specific workflow, carrier appetite, or agent role. You add categories, steps, sections, and individual questions (standard or Custom Questions). A template needs at least one active step before agents can use it.
How Live Intake works
→Live Intake is SALT's guided, step-by-step way to fill out a Submission in real time during a phone call or in-person conversation. Use it when you're capturing answers yourself instead of sending a Link to a prospect to complete on their own.
Reordering steps and elements in a Live Intake template
→You can reorder categories, steps within a category, and sections within a step. Reordering applies to new Live Intake sessions; past Submissions keep the order their data was captured under.
Using the SALT Default Live Intake template
→The SALT Default template is built-in, maintained by SALT, and ready to use without setup. It covers the standard insurance intake flow. You can't edit it — but you can build a custom template if you need something different.
