The Notepad feature allows agents to take and manage notes directly within a submission in SALT, keeping all relevant information centralized and easy to access.
Accessing the Notepad
You can access the Notepad from a tab located at either the bottom or the side of the submission screen, depending on your layout. This makes it easy to jot down details while reviewing or editing a submission.
Using Notepad
To create a new note:
Open the Notepad tab on the submission screen.
Click “New Note.”
Add a title to organize your notes.
Enter your note content in the body field.
Optional Settings:Reposition the Notepad to your desired location on the submission screen.
Apply color formatting to help visually distinguish or categorize notes.
Archiving Notes
Notes can be archived when they’re no longer actively needed. Archived notes are stored separately from active ones, making it easier to keep your workspace clean while still retaining important historical context.
Use Cases for Notepad
The Notepad is designed to support collaboration and streamline internal workflows. Here are some ways agents and team members can use it:
Record supplementary details not collected by the form
Add instructions or insights for other agents handling the same submission
Leave detailed guidance for virtual assistants
Keep all intake notes in one place for easy reference
Best Practices
Use clear, concise titles to make notes easily scannable
Archive notes once they’re resolved or outdated
Use color formatting to help categorize by urgency or type (e.g., instructions, reminders, context)
By incorporating Notepad into your daily workflow, you can keep submissions organized, handoffs smooth, and collaboration efficient.
