Gaya AI is an underwriting workflow integration. SALT sends completed Submissions to Gaya AI for underwriting analysis or workflow routing. Connect via the integration setup, toggle Forms on, and verify in Gaya AI after a test submission.

What Gaya AI does

Gaya AI is an underwriting and workflow platform. SALT pushes Submission data to Gaya AI where it can:

  • Run automated underwriting analysis
  • Surface eligibility flags
  • Route Submissions through Gaya AI-defined workflows
  • Augment your underwriting team’s decision-making

It’s neither a comparative rater (no quote return) nor a CRM (no lead management). It’s an underwriting layer between intake and downstream systems.

Connect Gaya AI

    Open Integrations on your account.

  2. 2

    Find Gaya AI and click connect.

  3. 3

    Provide the URL and credentials Gaya AI gave you for SALT integration.

  4. 4

    Configure any per-account settings (workflow defaults, routing rules).

  5. 5

    Toggle on the Forms that should send to Gaya AI.

  6. 6

    Submit a test on a toggled Form and verify in Gaya AI.

What flows to Gaya AI

The Submission’s structured data:

  • Insured profile and contact
  • Drivers, vehicles, properties (per LOB)
  • Coverage preferences
  • Prior policy details
  • Custom Question answers (where mapped)

Gaya AI processes the data per their configured workflow. Results may surface in their interface, push back to SALT (where supported), or feed downstream systems.

Troubleshooting

If Submissions aren’t reaching Gaya AI:

  1. Integration status — disabled or needs-reauth blocks sends.
  2. Form toggle — Gaya AI must be enabled on the Form.
  3. URL/credential validity — re-check what Gaya AI provided for SALT.
  4. Recent error log — Gaya AI-specific errors (validation, auth) appear there.

Common questions

Does Gaya AI return data to SALT after processing? Where supported, yes — Gaya AI’s responses can land on the Submission. Configuration depends on your specific Gaya AI setup.

Can I use Gaya AI alongside a comparative rater? Yes. Gaya AI handles underwriting; raters handle pricing. They serve different purposes and can both be enabled on the same Form.

Does Gaya AI consume Data Credits? Gaya AI itself doesn’t consume SALT Data Credits. Gaya AI may have its own pricing model — check with their team.

Why is the Gaya AI integration in “pending activation”? Some integrations require additional setup steps with the vendor. Confirm Gaya AI has acknowledged your SALT connection on their side.
