Epic Quotes integration guide
Epic Quotes is a lead aggregation platform. Activation requires SALT staff approval — after you connect with your tenant ID and token, the integration sits in "pending activation" until support reviews and approves. Contact support to expedite.
In short: Connect Epic Quotes with your tenant ID and token. The integration enters “pending activation” — SALT staff must approve it before it goes live. Contact support if you’ve been waiting more than a day.
Why Epic Quotes needs staff approval
Most integrations activate immediately after you provide credentials. Epic Quotes is different — its activation requires SALT staff to confirm and approve the connection from our side.
This is a deliberate gate, not a bug. It exists to:
- Verify the tenant ID and token are correct before traffic flows
- Confirm your agency has legitimate access to the Epic Quotes account
- Prevent misconfigured connections from causing data leaks across tenants
Until staff approve, the integration sits in pending activation — and the UI doesn’t always make it obvious why.

How long activation takes
Approvals are typically processed within one business day. If you’ve been waiting longer than that, follow up with support.
What Epic Quotes does with Submissions
Epic Quotes is a lead aggregation and routing platform. SALT sends completed Submissions; Epic Quotes can:
- Aggregate leads from multiple sources (SALT plus others)
- Apply routing rules (e.g. by geography, line of business, partner)
- Hand off leads to specific buyers or downstream systems
Configuration of those rules happens on the Epic Quotes side.
Troubleshooting
If your Epic Quotes integration is stuck:
- “Pending activation” for more than a day — contact support.
- “Enabled” but no leads flowing — check Form toggles, then Epic Quotes’s own ingest logs.
- Errors in the SALT integration log — review for vendor-specific issues (auth, validation, rate limit).
Common questions
Can I activate Epic Quotes myself if I’m an admin? No — activation requires SALT staff confirmation. Your admin role lets you connect, but activation runs through support.
What happens to Submissions that completed during “pending activation”? They don’t sync. Only Submissions completing after activation push to Epic Quotes. To backfill, contact support to discuss whether a manual catchup is feasible.
Can I disable Epic Quotes without losing my approval? Yes — you can disable the integration’s per-Form toggles or set the integration to disabled at the agency level. The activation approval persists; re-enabling resumes sync without another support request.
