AgencyZoom integration guide

Connect SALT to AgencyZoom to push completed Submissions as leads and opportunities. The integration creates new leads on submission, matches against existing leads where possible, and handles duplicates and merges. Reauthorization is occasionally required when AgencyZoom's OAuth tokens expire.

In short: Connect once via the AgencyZoom OAuth flow, configure your lead and opportunity defaults, and toggle the integration on for the Forms that should sync. Submissions create leads or attach to existing ones.

Connecting AgencyZoom

What gets synced

When a Submission completes on a Form with AgencyZoom enabled:

  • A Lead is created in AgencyZoom (or matched to an existing one)
  • An Opportunity is created per applicable line of business
  • Contact info, address, and standard fields are mapped from the Submission’s Insured/property/vehicle records
  • Documents may be attached depending on configuration

The integration runs asynchronously after the Submission completes. Sync usually takes a few seconds.

Connect AgencyZoom

  1. 1

    Open Integrations on your account.

  2. 2

    Find AgencyZoom and click connect.

  3. 3

Sign in to AgencyZoom and authorize SALT.

  4. 4

Configure your default lead rules (which lead source label to use, default tags, default agent assignment).

  5. 5

Configure your opportunity defaults (which products map to which AgencyZoom LOBs, default opportunity stage).

  6. 6

Toggle on the Forms that should sync to AgencyZoom.

  7. 7

Submit a test on one of those Forms and verify the lead appears in AgencyZoom.

Reauthorization

AgencyZoom uses OAuth tokens that periodically expire. When that happens, SALT shows a “needs reauth” alert on the integration:

  1. 1

Click the reauth alert in your account header (or open the AgencyZoom integration directly).

  2. 2

    Re-authorize via AgencyZoom’s OAuth flow.

  3. 3

    Sync resumes immediately.

A recent UX update surfaces the reauth alert as a header pill so you don’t miss it.

Handling duplicates

AgencyZoom matches incoming leads against existing ones using contact info (email, phone). When a match is found:

  • The new Submission is attached to the existing lead rather than creating a duplicate
  • The lead’s data may be updated with newer values (depending on AgencyZoom’s settings)
  • A new Opportunity is still created for the new line of business

If you see unexpected duplicates, check whether the consumer’s email or phone differs slightly between Submissions (e.g. typos, different phone format). AgencyZoom matches on exact values.

Merged leads

When AgencyZoom users manually merge two leads, SALT’s reference points to the resulting merged lead. New Submissions for the same contact land on the merged record.

If a merge breaks your sync (e.g. SALT is referencing a deleted lead ID), the next Submission re-resolves and creates a fresh reference.

Won/lost lifecycle

AgencyZoom can sync won/lost states back to SALT in some configurations:

  • A Submission’s Status can be updated based on the AgencyZoom Opportunity’s status
  • A SALT Status change can push to AgencyZoom (where configured)

Configure which states trigger which updates in the AgencyZoom integration settings.

Documents

Where supported, documents uploaded to a Submission can attach to the AgencyZoom Lead. File types and sizes follow the standard SALT limits (PDF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, up to 25 MB).

Common questions

My Submission completed but no AgencyZoom lead appeared. Check three things: (1) the integration’s status — make sure it’s not “needs reauth” or “disabled”; (2) the Form has AgencyZoom toggled on; (3) AgencyZoom didn’t silently match to an existing lead — search by the contact info first.

The AgencyZoom lead has the wrong agent assigned. Default assignment comes from your AgencyZoom integration settings. If different Forms should route to different agents, configure that per-Form (where supported) or use AgencyZoom’s own routing rules post-creation.

Documents aren’t attaching. File type or size limits, or the Form’s document field isn’t mapped to AgencyZoom. Check AgencyZoom’s lead detail to confirm the upload landed; if not, verify the Form’s document configuration.

How do I disable AgencyZoom for a single Form without disconnecting entirely? Open the Form’s integrations tab and toggle AgencyZoom off for that Form only. The integration stays connected for other Forms.
