'Data as a Service' Billing Model
In July 2023, SALT introduced billing for data retrieved with submissions to ensure the platform's sustainability and future viability.
In February 2024, we enhanced our data billing approach by implementing a pre-purchase data credit system. This update allows SALT agencies to use their SALT Data Credits as needed, optimizing data acquisition for maximum agency efficiency.

If your account had more than five (5) user seats before January 2024, we will honor that seat count billed at your current "per-seat" rate. Our Middle Market team can provide information on unlimited submissions and user seats with a custom underwriting session.

Agencies may exceed Propel’s annual soft cap of 300 submissions. Submissions after 300 will begin utilizing data credits. Contact the sales team to discuss custom pricing if your annual submission count exceeds 500.

Ability to customize the title and subtext within a question to better brand your agency's specific needs or recommendations.

State-specific Recommendations -
Ability to dictate state-specific recommendations for your prospects within questions related to limits, deductibles, etc.
The options that the agent chooses to include/exclude in the default "Nationwide set" will be used unless overridden by a "state options set" selected by the agent.
Customize Rater Options -
Ability to customize and exclude certain options to better align with your specific needs and the comparative rater your agency is utilizing.
User Seats -
Refers to the number of people within your agency that need access to SALT. If your agency needs more than the 5 user seats allocated within the Propel plan, contact sales to discuss the *Custom plan option.
Submissions -
A SALT submission contains all of the information, documentation, and details pertaining to an individual's insurance request.
