Data Provider FAQs
π₯ MeasureOne (Dec Page retrieval)
How much does a MeasureOne Declaration Page request cost?
Dec page requests are $2 per carrier request as of June 1st, 2025.
What if I don't want to be charged?
MeasureOne is an optional, add-on integration. You'll only be charged if you opt to activate this integration.
How do I activate MeasureOne?
Navigate to the Integrations section. Under MeasureOne, select Enable Integration.
Is there a maximum number of requests I can make?
You can set a threshold for the minimum or maximum number of requests your agency can make per billing period.
What is a "data threshold?"
Every billable add-on integration at SALT has been given an integration βthreshold.β This threshold is an agency-level setting that allows you to set a limit on how many Data Pulls or Declaration Page requests your agency can utilize and therefore be billed for each month.
How do thresholds work?
MeasureOne pulls are billed monthly. When your MeasureOne pull usage reaches the threshold set below, we will automatically prevent additional MeasureOne pulls until the next billing period.
Can I send my prospect a link just to collect their Dec Pages?
Yes, you can send a dedicated link that's just for collecting Declaration Pages from a prospect. See instructions [here].
π‘ Estated (Property data)
What kind of data does Estated provide?
Estated provides property data, including:
- Year built
- Square footage
- Number of beds/baths
- Roof type
- Foundation
- Building materials
Can I test Estated without using credits?
Not at this time. A credit is used anytime Estated returns a response β successful or not β unless the address is invalid or the integration fails due to an error.
Can I download or print an Estated report?
While technically possible, the formatting may not be optimized for printing at this time. Improvements are planned.
π Fenris (Auto/Driver data)
What kind of data does Fenris provide?
Fenris provides auto and driver data, including:
- Vehicle make, model, year, and VIN
- License plate info
- Driver verification
- Address match status
Can I test Fenris without being charged a data credit?
Fenris (unlike Estated) will bill for every pull unless one of the following criteria is met:
- There is an error message present
- An incorrect address is associated with the pull
Sample data (addresses that don't exist/won't standardize) is used
[Tap here to access "sample data" that can be used to sample the Fenris Data Pull process at no cost to your agency.]
Why doesn't Fenris return data in my state?
Certain states have restrictions due to the privacy/information laws specific to that state. The restricted states that affect the auto API are as follows:
[ California | Hawaii | New Hampshire | New York | Pennsylvania | Virginia | Oklahoma ]
Some state-specific dependencies influence the information able to be collected through data pulls.
[Note: We've provided an "override" option to ensure that SALT allows the request to happen even when the state is restricted. By selecting "override," you're stating: βI know itβs restricted, but try anyway."]
What does Fenris: "Success - No VIN" mean?
When a Fenris report returns "Success - No VIN," it means they've found drivers & verified the address, but were unable to find any VIN numbers.
Why didn't the report include license details for all drivers?
Fenris does not include license numbers or names for individuals under 18. However, the report will note if 16- or 17-year-olds are present in the household.
