Submissions 'Notepad' Feature
The Notepad feature allows agents to take and manage notes directly within a submission in SALT, keeping all relevant information centralized and easy to access.

Accessing Notepad
You can access the Notepad from a tab located at either the bottom or the side of the submission screen, depending on your layout. This makes it easy to jot down details while reviewing or editing a submission.
Using Notepad
To create a new note:
- Open the Notepad tab on the submission screen.
- Click βNew Note.β
- Add a title to organize your notes.
Enter your note content in the body field.β
βOptional Settings:
- Reposition the Notepad to your desired location on the submission screen.
- Apply color formatting to help visually distinguish or categorize notes.

Archiving Notes
Notes can be archived when theyβre no longer actively needed. Archived notes are stored separately from active ones, making it easier to keep your workspace clean while still retaining important historical context.
Archived notes are stored at the bottom of the Notepad.

The Notepad is designed to support collaboration and streamline internal workflows. Here are some ways agents and team members can use it:
- Record supplementary details not collected by the form
- Add instructions or insights for other agents handling the same submission
- Leave detailed guidance for virtual assistants
- Keep all intake notes in one place for easy reference
Best Practices:
- Use clear, concise titles to make notes easily scannable
- Archive notes once theyβre resolved or outdated
- Use color formatting to help categorize by urgency or type (e.g., instructions, reminders, context)
