Form Branding & Customization

Your forms are often one of the first touch-points prospects have with your agency, so ensuring they reflect your brand is key to building trust and delivering a consistent experience.

SALT makes it easy to customize the look and feel of your forms so they align with your brand identity and preferences. This includes adjustable color themes, logo padding controls, the option to remove form illustrations for a cleaner appearance, and an improved preview experience within the Form Editor.

Accessing Branding Settings

Branding options are available both at the agency level and within each individual Link, giving you more granular control to customize specific experiences without changing your agency-wide defaults.

Where to Find These Settings

Branding options can be managed in two places:

Agency-Level Settings:

The options applied in your Agency Settings will serve as the default for all Forms agency-wide.

You can configure branding for individual Forms or Links by opening a Form, switching to the Links tab, and navigating to Settings > Branding for the Link you want to customize.

By default, all Forms and Links follow your agency-level branding settings. However, you can override them here to tailor the experience for specific use cases, without impacting other Forms/Links or your agency-wide defaults.

Logo Padding Options

You can adjust the padding around your agency’s logo to make sure it looks clean, balanced, and professional on SALT Forms—no matter the shape, size, or design of the original file. You can choose from four padding options when uploading your logo:

  • None – No added white space (default setting)
  • Tight – Adds a small amount of white space
  • Comfy – Adds moderate white space
  • Spacious – Adds the most white space

Color Themes

The Consumer Form includes 17 color theme options, allowing you to choose a style for your agency's Forms that best aligns with your unique branding.

By default, all Forms and Links use the standard blue theme. However, you can update the color theme for each Form or Link individually (Link-level Settings > Branding), allowing you to better match your agency’s branding.

Form Illustrations

If you prefer a more minimal, professional look, you can remove form illustrations. This creates a cleaner, distraction-free experience for users and helps your forms better align with your agency’s branding.

Link Preview in Form Editor

While adding steps or questions to a Form, you’ll see a Preview panel on the right side of the page. This preview includes a dropdown that lets you view how the form will appear with the branding from any of the individual Links connected to that form. It’s a helpful way to quickly check how things like logos, colors, and messaging will display.

Note: The branding preview is only temporary—it resets if you refresh the page or make changes to the question you’re editing. It’s meant as a quick reference, not a permanent preview setting.

Custom Legal Links

In addition to the aesthetic options available in the Settings > Agency > Branding section, you’ll also find fields for adding your agency’s custom Terms of Service URL and Privacy Policy URL.

When added, these links will automatically appear in the disclaimer at the bottom of your Consumer Form, providing prospects with easy access to your legal and privacy information. (More info on this here.)

By customizing these elements, you can ensure your forms feel like a natural extension of your agency, not a separate experience. Check them out and make your forms uniquely yours! ✨
